Emergency Fundraising UPDATE [09/06/2017]

Assalamu alaikum warāhmatullāh

    It is with great pleasure we provide you updates on the IDP Emergency Fundraising for food
supplies on this day, the 14th of Ramadān 1438AH.

First and foremost, we thank Allāh Subhanahu Wa’ta’ala for making this fundraising activity a

success. We have exceeded our own expectations-and this was only possible by the will of Allāh.

Alhamdulillāh a thousand times!!!

To out 111 donors who donated either in cash or kind, and to the numerous broadcasters who

helped spread the word, and those who supported with heart felt dua, we sincerely pray that this beautiful act weighs heavy on your scale of good deeds – Amīn

 Total amount raised/donated (to date) since the 8th of Ramadān 1438AH/3rd June 2017
is N1,519,700.

 Total amount utilized (to date) is N479,050* - As at Sunday 9th of Ramadan/8th June
2017 when the team visited the market to purchase the food items for the IDPs at
Wassa camp, we had raised a little over this amount and thus determined our budget.
However, Alhamdulillah Allāh has blessed this initiative with donors beyond our
expectations.

 To this end, we have raised a further N1,040,650 to date, which we aim to utilize in
feeding IDPs at Karmajiji IDP camp and refurbishing a community masjid within the
Wassa IDP camp vicinity.

 We aim to pause on collecting further donations until we are able to fully utilize and
justify the funds. In addition, this will help us remain accountable for all funds received
thus far. Jazakumullahu Khairan.

Brief of donated food supplies delivered to Wassa IDP Camp in Karshi/orozo ward, FCT on the 11^th of Ramadan 1438AH/6^th June 2017:

By the will of Allah, the Almighty, donations kept coming in and we were able to raise a total of N1,519,700 as at 9^th June 2017. Hence, we decided to cater for more IDP camps around the FCT specifically Karmajiji and Kuchingoro, alongside a group of orphans living in Karmajiji vicinity which is scheduled for the 16^th of Ramadan 1438AH/11^th of June 2017 and also refurbish a dilapidated mosque within the Muslim community in Wassa IDP camp area.

To this end, we will provide an update following the successful implementation of the above
listed next steps.

We pray that Allāh purifies our intentions, blesses us all with His mercy and grace, and grants us
all the wisdom, humility and ability to assist our brothers and sisters in need. We pray that Allāh,
Al-Adl – The Utterly Just, enables us to be just with the funds you have donated.
If there is anything we have learnt in these past few days, it is this “Nothing is impossible with
the help of Allāh”.

Thank you once again, to each and EVERY single one of you - for believing that life is indeed
bigger than US and is about humanity at large. May Allāh, Al-Wadud, Al-Fattah, support and love
what you all do, more than you have all supported us. Alhamdulillāh a thousand times.
